From
the A1:
Take the A69 exit to Hexham. Continue along the A69 heading West
until you reach Styford roundabout (about 15 miles). Take
the 3rd exit to Hexham and Hadrianís Wall. Leave A69 in
about 2 miles following signs to A68 & Jedburgh and take
the last exit from roundabout under the A69 heading North
up the hill. After 400 yards take the first left turning
to Sandhoe; continue up the hill until you reach the crossroads,
go straight across, continue uphill until you reach a "T"
junction. Turn right and almost immediately go left up the
track passing Garden House on your right, continue between
hedges for another 50 yards; Peartree Cottage is on your
left.
From
Corbridge:
Go through
village heading towards A68, go across roundabout and under
the A69 onto A68, 400 yards up the road turn left at the
sign to Sandhoe then as above.
From
Hexham:
Go East along A69
until the Corbridge turn off, take the slip road and turn
left onto the A68 when you reach the main road, 400 yards
up the road turn left at the sign to Sandhoe then as above.
