Peartree Cottage is an attractive and well equipped three bedroomed cottage situated in one of the prettiest and most interesting parts of Northumberland.

Lying on the North side of the Tyne Valley just above the village of Corbridge and within two miles of the historic market town of Hexham, this comfortable cottage is tucked down a short hidden track at the edge of the hamlet of Sandhoe. Despite its tranquil setting where the only sound at night is owls hooting, it is near some really excellent pubs and restaurants, a Waitrose and a market town with theatre, cinema and leisure centre.

Situated in just under an acre of gardens overlooking a wild flower meadow and ancient espaliers, Peartree Cottage is close to the key Roman sites in the area including Corstopitum and Hadrian’s Wall. The cottage is in the heart of excellent walking country with opportunities for bird watching and exploring the coastline too.
